About Tony
I’m a textile artist, educator, and curriculum designer with years of experience teaching embroidery, fashion skills, and creative textiles to learners of all ages and abilities. My practice blends traditional craftsmanship with a modern, expressive approach, and I’m known for making even the most intricate techniques feel accessible and enjoyable. I’ve taught in FE settings, delivered community workshops, and developed City & Guilds-aligned learning materials, giving me a strong foundation in both creative practice and structured, inclusive teaching.
Students can expect patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm — I meet every learner where they are and help them grow with confidence, creativity, and a sense of achievement.

I teach embroidery, textiles, and fashion-based skills through a calm, supportive, and highly adaptive approach. Every lesson is built around the learner in front of me — their pace, their confidence, and their creative goals. I specialise in breaking techniques down into clear, manageable steps, using demonstrations, guided practice, and lots of encouragement. Whether we’re working on bullion knots, French knots, free-motion embroidery, or garment construction, I focus on building strong foundations while leaving space for personal expression.
