About Stéphanie

I’m a very passionate young adult, whose native language is French. I have lived in Lyon, France for many years, had my education there (from elementary school to university) so I have an extensive knowledge of the language and I’m eager to transmit that, as it is a language dear to my heart.

About the lesson

I will first be evaluating the student’s level by asking them questions through a discussion and a series of test. Once complete, we will rehearse on what they already know before working on discovering new lessons.
Learning will be transmitted through quizzes, catchy French songs, videos and audios. My favorite method is the videos method, along with speaking to the student in French during the session (and help them with any comprehension issues).

- [x] I have been taking personal classes with Stephanie for my trip to France and I’m proud to say that I can hold a conversation with strangers now. Stephanie has been wonderful, patient, reliable, understanding and overall very professional. It’s only been 2 months so I can’t wait to see where I will be by the end of the year.

It has been so wonderful to have stephanie help me to accomplish one of my life goals of learning french for the last few months! The growth from the beginning to now has made such a huge impact on my confidence and interactions with other people. I can successfully hold conversations fluently with my peers and other french-speaking civilians I come across. This experience has meant a lot to me because I am usually hard on myself, since it takes me longer than my peers to learn new things, but having stephanie help me with overcoming one of my goals on top of having such great qualities of a leader, motivator, and mentor is something I truly appreciate and would do it all over again!

Stephanie is the perfect French teacher anyone could ask for. Not only her French is impeccable since it originate from France but her teaching methods are also very good. She’s very patient and understanding and takes her time making sure everyone understands the material before moving on to a different topic. I went from only knowing 2 to 3 words to being able to have a full conversation with other students. She’s also super funny and over all a great teacher. I definitely recommend her !!
