About Baker
With a strong background in music and teaching, I help students of all ages develop their piano skills and musical understanding. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, providing expertise in both theory and performance. I have taught beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams, recitals, and competitions. My lessons are student-centred, practical, and designed to be engaging and motivating. I use real-life examples and case studies to make rhythm, melody, and harmony relatable and easy to understand. Motivation is a key part of my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate milestones. Problem-solving is integrated into lessons to develop analytical thinking and independence. I teach with integrity, creating a safe, honest, and supportive environment for learning. I am flexible, adapting lessons to the student’s pace, style, and objectives. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition. I prepare students for exams, competitions, and performances while fostering creativity, confidence, and discipline. Lessons are available online or in-person for all ages. I focus on technical skill, musical expression, and fostering a lifelong love for music. Each lesson is structured, enjoyable, and rewarding. My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and passionate musicians.

I teach piano using a combination of creativity, structure, and practical examples. Using real-life examples and case studies, I help students understand rhythm, melody, and harmony by connecting them to everyday experiences. I focus on motivation, guiding students to set realistic goals, track progress, and celebrate every achievement to build confidence. Problem-solving exercises are included in every lesson to encourage independent thinking, resilience, and analytical skills. I teach with integrity, providing a patient, honest, and encouraging environment where students feel safe to experiment and grow. Lessons are flexible, adapted to the student’s age, skill level, and personal objectives. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition. Lessons are offered online or in-person, suitable for all ages. My goal is to help students play with skill, express themselves creatively, and develop a lasting love and appreciation for music.
