Mel is one of the kindest teachers. I know they personally took attention to my hobbies, my interest what made me passionate what I was good at and infuse that into their lesson plans they went out of their way to make sure I got as many opportunities as possible. They have been incredibly kind, giving up their free time to help me out they are one of the best people I know.

Mel was my 10th grade math teacher. Mel truly knows how to respond and adjust to each student's individual needs; working to ensure you really understand the material. Mel genuinely cares about your learning and will never give up on you no matter the struggle. It's safe to say she doesn't just want you to pass the tests or hand in the material like the average teacher.
Personally, I've never been the biggest fan of math. Mel is the first and only math teacher I've had whose class I actually looked forward to. This can be credited to the combination of her teaching style and character. She is one of the most compassionate and down-to-earth people I've met. Mel is one of few who truly presents themselves openly and authentically to everyone.

Mel is an amazing teacher! She gets to know each student and help find ways to support and challenge them. Her passion for teaching is infectious. The students respond to her and enjoy Math due to her engaging style and strong relationships. If you want your student to improve and start loving Math, then Mel will be perfect for your student.

Mel was my 10th grade math teacher until she went on maternity leave when she had her gorgeous daughter! Mel is honestly the best teacher i’ve ever had, she makes sure students feel loved and safe, and she has so much respect from all my peers because how patient and understanding she is. She never fails to put a smile on faces and turn bad days into the best. I love her so much and she’s really changed my life for the better!

She is flat out incredible. She is a wonderful human and fabulous mathematician. She is incredibly patient, kind, thoughtful, observant, and helpful. She brings joy and life to every interaction and finds all the ways to uplift students. You would be hard pressed to find such an amazing person to work with your student.
