About Matilda
Hi there! I'm Matilda and I'm a tutor and homeschooler from London.
I had an absolutely wonderful time studying English and Spanish and I love sharing my passion with others.
I have 5 years of experience tutoring English to all ages and levels, and Spanish up to GCSE level.
I love adapting my lessons to suit every individual!
I think it's wonderful how everyone learns and thinks differently, so I always aim to tailor my classes to your needs and wants.
I also love my students to feel super confident and proactive in their own learning! Tutoring with me is like learning together, in a team.

My tutoring sessions are tailor-made for each student. I strive for all my students to feel confident, engaged and proactive in their own learning.
All students have different needs and ways of learning; my 5 years of experience as a private tutor, alongside my experience as an SEN teaching assistant, has given me the techniques and know-how to cater my teaching to individuals.
I typically teach 1 - 2 hour lessons (depending on the level), making sure to include a variety of activities and tasks to keep students engaged whilst delving deep into a topic.
I teach English to students from primary school all the way up to undergrad level (including 7+, SATS, 11+, 13+, GCSE, A-level, uni admissions and BA).
I also teach Spanish up to GCSE level. I speak fluent Spanish and studied it up to A-level. I do conversation classes as well as reading/writing/listening, culture and literature.
