About Toran
I have always had a passion for Maths from a young age, and have found it to be a fascinating subject. I wish to inspire people to see the best side of Maths, the side that I see, and find a way for them to love the subject, instead of fearing it.
I was an avid member of our schools Maths club, where students could come after school to look at problems, and I would help in solving them. I also have a younger sibling currently in year 10, who I am helping with his learning.

My lessons are focused on engaging students in the learning process, by getting them to be active participants in the lesson, and finding the right methods for them, to help boost their confidence.
It is important for me to listen to the needs of each student in order to find out how best to support them, and getting them to be active and share their thought processes so I am able to understand them better, and inspire them.
I have A levels in both Maths and Further Maths, with particular strengths in Arithmetic, Algebra, and Statistics. and have worked at a tutoring agency, where I taught several students from all levels, Key Stages 1 to 5, and have gone over everything from basic fractions to calculus.
Lessons will usually be between 1 and 2 hours, and after that it's important to give the knowledge some time to sink in. They can be done remotely, with a potential to have in person sessions depending on the situation.
