As an experienced English and Writing tutor, I bring a personalized, student-focused approach to every session. I adapt my teaching methods to meet each student’s unique needs, whether they are mastering grammar, crafting compelling essays, or improving their communication skills.

Teaching Methods and Techniques:
I use a blend of interactive teaching techniques, including:
Customized Lesson Plans tailored to the student's goals, such as improving writing for applications or enhancing oral presentation skills. Engaging Activities that make learning fun and practical, such as real-life writing exercises and mock oral argument sessions. Step-by-Step Guidance for more complex tasks like dissertations or research studies, breaking down the process into manageable steps.

Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): Review of previous material and a brief discussion of the day’s goals.

Main Lesson (30-40 minutes): Focus on the student’s specific needs—essay writing, reading comprehension, or preparing for an oral presentation.

Practice and Feedback (10-15 minutes): Apply new skills through exercises, followed by constructive feedback.

Wrap-Up (5 minutes): Recap key takeaways and assign light, relevant practice to reinforce learning.

What Sets Me Apart:
Academic Excellence: Cum laude graduate from UGA with a strong foundation in research and writing.

Diverse Experience: Proficient in teaching English to both K-5 students online and peers in higher education, including those applying to law and undergraduate programs.

Supportive and Patient: I approach every student with kindness and understanding, creating a positive environment that fosters confidence.

Who My Lessons Are For
