I use a Socratic approach where I ask students questions throughout the session. This helps me understand where they are struggling. I then tailor the content to the student and their learning goals. A typical session can look very different depending on the student. Sometimes we review problems together from an assignment; other times I bring targeted practice materials to work on together. I've been told what sets me apart from other tutors is that I'm very relatable and I approach the material from interesting ways that help the student understand things clearly. My lessons are for anyone looking to get better in math at the K-12 or college level.
