About Jonathan
I have a Master's in mechanical engineering and have been working in the world of 3D printing for the last 2 years. At university I taught fellow engineers what I'd already learned, helping them gain the knowledge to excel and I taught GCSE mathematics while studying IB in Hong Kong. I come from a varied background and I have a wide range of knowledge and skills in numerous areas that I would appreciate passing along.

The best approach to learning anything new is to first get to know the core principles. I like to first get an understanding of how well someone knows a particular topic so I work out where their strength lie. I like to use visual aids in getting new ideas across as I believe being able to visualise how a particular idea of concept works is key in understanding it fully. When it comes to working through problems, I prefer to help people break them down into their smallest components before guiding them through each stage of their reasoning. This way, a person learns the methodology behind the subject rather than memorising information.
