About Romona

Solving complex problems requires more than just memorizing formulas, so I lean on my BS in Math and New York State teaching license to bridge abstract theory with practical application. I started helping a friend's kid with algebra and trigonometry long ago, which evolved into a career supporting students through calculus, linear algebra, and coordinate geometry. My approach focuses on fundamentals that often get ignored.

I share my own thought process out loud including the dead ends because seeing the struggle is vital for growth. My students often return to me after long breaks because they value this direct, detail-oriented style. I have assisted hundreds of learners with exam preparation and Vedic math techniques. I get the job done right.

About the lesson

Clarity is the priority during our time together, as we work through mensuration or problem solving strategies step by step. I expect a high level of focus while we examine the mechanics behind every equation.

My engineering background informs how we tackle these topics. Expect to see the messy reality of mathematical discovery during our sessions.

I emphasize conceptual learning above all else. We will dismantle difficult problems until the logic is clear.This is rigorous work.
