About Virendra Singh

Hi, I'm Virendra Singh! I hold a degree in engineering with a strong foundation in mathematics, and I've spent the past few years tutoring high school students through advanced math and calculus. I know how overwhelming these subjects can feel when concepts are rushed or explained purely through formulas, so I make it a priority to slow down, explain the "why" behind every method, and check in regularly to make sure nothing is left unclear. My students consistently tell me they leave sessions feeling more confident, not just more prepared for a test. I take this responsibility seriously — every session is planned, every explanation is tailored to how you learn best, and I'm always reachable for questions between classes. You can trust that I'll show up prepared, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress.

About the lesson

I'm Virendra Singh, and I teach advanced high school mathematics, with a focus on calculus and pre-calculus. My approach centers on building genuine conceptual understanding rather than memorized formulas — I break every topic down into its underlying logic first, then move to problem-solving, so students understand why a method works before they apply it.

A typical class starts with a quick review of the previous topic, followed by a focused explanation of the new concept using visual and real-world examples. We then work through problems together, moving from guided examples to independent practice, with time set aside at the end for questions and a short recap.

What sets my teaching apart is my engineering background — I connect abstract math to practical, real-world applications, which helps concepts stick rather than fade after the exam. I'm patient, adapt my pace to each student's learning style, and focus as much on building confidence as on results.

My classes are best suited for high school students working on advanced math and calculus, etc.
