About Waleed
My name is Waleed and I am a computer engineering grad from the University of Waterloo. I found my passion for teaching during my masters where I conducted tutorials for university courses.
Classes follow a strict timeline and at time it is not possible to spend extra time on a topic, but that can lead to a gap in knowledge. My approach is to ensure that students understand the entire concept from start to finish without any confusion, and then do examples with them to apply that knowledge with practice. Understanding and them applying the concept in depth is what leads to command of any topic, I am wish to help students in that journey.

I have experience in setting up tutorials for students and have taught both high school and university level students. I tailor my approach to match their knowledge level.
My lesson plans include going over the core concepts of the subject matter, and supplementing them with examples. I try to simplify the concepts and work with the students to understand their viewpoint to guide them on the topic.
