As a GIS tutor, my approach is primarily student-centered and focused on practical application of knowledge. I strive to create a comfortable space where students feel free to ask questions, share their thoughts and experiences, and contribute to the learning process.
My teaching methodology involves a combination of different techniques to cater to diverse learning styles. I use a mix of lectures, demonstrations, visual aids, problem-solving exercises, and real-life case studies. This variety helps to ensure that students with different learning preferences are able to grasp the concepts effectively.
A typical lesson plan would involve an introduction to the topic, followed by an overview of the theoretical concepts. I would then provide examples and practical applications to illustrate those concepts. Students would be encouraged to actively participate by attempting exercises or working on small projects related to the topic.
