About Dorcelle
I'm a senior mechanical engineering student. I work in research and development. I have four younger siblings, so I've been a tutor majority of my life I'd say. I'm a math tutor specifically. The students I tutor enjoy my teaching style because they slowly develop an understanding for math. After that understanding of math is formed their confidence builds. I've tutored students from elementary school to high school. I've also tutored college students.

My method of teaching is based on the student, so very adaptable. My typical lesson plan is understanding why the student has trouble. Starting from the basics and establishing a sound foundation. Also, allowing the student to make their own goals in terms of what they want to achieve. I try to use examples that the students can relate to, so they become more involved in the lesson thus keeping their attention. What sets me apart as a tutor is my level of patience, and my priority to not overwhelm the student.
