I am an engineering student in my second year. I have been competing in math competitions for years, learning many essential concepts that many students would otherwise never learn in a traditional learning environment. I approach problems very conceptually, using both my competition knowledge and engineering background to offer tons of approaches to problems. I use core principals of mathematics to break down assignments into very simple segments, and guide the student towards finding unique solutions, while making sure that they are not just following given formulas, and instead applying conceptual knowledge to tackle a problem.
