About Daniel
I am an experienced engineer with over 15+ years in industry, working across defence, aerospace, and compliance-critical engineering environments. My career includes 10 years as a weapons engineer, 5 years as an aerospace hydraulics engineer, and 3 years as an EMC engineer, giving me a broad and practical understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.
I choose to teach because I have seen first-hand how challenging engineering subjects can be when they are taught without real-world context. My goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, helping students understand not just what the answer is, but why it is correct. This approach builds confidence, improves problem-solving skills, and prepares students for exams as well as real engineering roles.
I am professional, well-prepared, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to each student’s level and objectives. I take pride in explaining complex topics in a calm, logical, and approachable way.
I work with GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, HNC/HND, as well as apprentices and graduate engineers, supporting both academic success and practical understanding.
