About Cheryl
I live in Calgary, AB. I am from Toronto, ON. I love working with students of all ages. I have worked as an Education Assistant since 2009, and have recently switched positions to being employed as an English Additional Language Assistant. I have a temporary position as an Education Assistant as well. I enjoy swimming, reading, going to the gym and going for walks.

My teaching methodology incorporates Differentiated Instruction (Creating lesson plans for students based on differing needs), Technology-based learning (Zoom), individual learning, Kinesthetic learning (Learning through movement-I often use hand gestures when presenting to engage students visually and kinesthetically. Students can draw or act while learning) and student-centered approach (Teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process).
I have tutored for many years for various tutoring companies and I have tutored through self-employment. I wish to tutor students at the elementary level (K-12).
