About Jasmine
Hello! My name is Jasmine Day and I look forward to the possibility of working with you! Ever since I could remember, I have always loved books and would carry one with me everywhere I went. That love of literature carried over with me to college, where I graduated at the University of Northern Colorado with a BA of English and Writing with a minor in Film Studies.
I want to share my passion for literature and writing with students that are looking to further hone their craft or are seeking extra support in their academic journey. As a neurodivergent individual myself, I specialize in working with neurodivergent students to provide a personalized approach to learning that will best support their learning process, because no two students are the same. Hello! I approach tutoring with patience and care while providing a lesson plan that is personalized to fit YOUR style of learning. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent students to help find a method that best supports their academic journey.
A typical lesson plan may include reviewing homework, lessons, and studying for tests, targeting what concepts may need extra support, finding the best method of retaining the newly learned information, and exploring other concepts and topics of English, writing, or literature that you want to learn more about!
With my experience in tutoring for all ages, my lessons are for anyone between Pre-K to undergraduate level. I offer tutoring in all areas of Academic English, such as reading and writing, literature, poetry, linguistics, and specialized topics.
I hope to provide all the necessary support to help you succeed in your academic journey and I look forward to learning with you!
