About Faith
Hi! I’m a creative educator and English tutor with a background in teaching, storytelling, and working with students of all ages. I’ve taught in classroom settings as a STEAM teacher and film instructor, and I’ve also worked one-on-one with students to strengthen their writing, reading comprehension, and confidence.
My goal as a tutor is to help students feel confident in their voice while also building strong academic skills.
I’m patient, supportive, and highly attentive to each student’s needs. Whether someone is struggling with essays or looking to grow creatively, I create a space where learning feels approachable, encouraging, and even fun.
Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about writing and filmmaking, which I love bringing into my lessons to keep things engaging and fun!

My approach as a tutor is student-centered, supportive, and creative. I focus on building confidence first, because I’ve found that when students feel comfortable and capable, their writing and critical thinking improve naturally. I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, whether that’s strengthening grammar fundamentals, improving essay structure, or developing a unique creative voice.
In a typical lesson, I like to start with a quick check-in and review of previous work, then move into a focused skill (such as thesis building, paragraph structure, or literary analysis). From there, we practice together and end with clear, actionable feedback and a small goal for next time. I aim to make lessons feel collaborative and engaging rather than overwhelming.
What sets me apart is my background in both teaching and storytelling. As a STEAM teacher and film instructor, I bring a creative lens to writing that helps students see it as a form of expression, not just an assignment. I’m also very patient and attentive, and I take the time to understand how each student learns best.
