About Tori
I am a University student who did her GCSE exams in 2022, so I understand the experience of the modern student, including what you are lacking from your classroom experience. I will provide an approachable and relatable presence for those who are worried about their final English exams. My guidance comes from a deep knowledge of the modern GCSE curriculum. I will work with you to find techniques that suit you and make those English exams less daunting than they currently seem!

I am offering a tailored approach to tutoring your child, with sessions that will be adapted to their individual areas of weakness. I focus on developing a student's exam technique as this is often an area that receives less attention in the classroom, despite it being instrumental to a student's success, and I ensure that my students feel confident and prepared in the exam hall. In the past I have worked with students to achieve more than a 3 Grade increase in a period of 5 months of weekly sessions e.g. if they are currently working at a Grade 3, I can promise a Grade 6 minimum for their final result. I offer flexible online lessons available at times that suit you and your child’s needs.
