About Chelsea
Hi, I’m Chelsea!
I am 22 years old and currently an English student at UCC.
Originally from Australia, I moved to Ireland with my family when I was 12. I love reading books and writing stories of my own, and have done since I was three years old.
I volunteer at a boarding kennels and at various festivals, when I’m not writing an English essay or two for University. I also love crocheting and baking.

I believe that there is an excellent English student in everyone, and with gentle encouragement that potential can be unlocked.
My lessons are for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students (13-18).
My classes will consist of analysing poems, writing essay plans, writing stories and general discussion about the texts the student is studying at school. I feel it is very beneficial if a student is able to have a conversation and talk to me about the text, as it increases understanding, which will then help in an essay. I will also structure my lessons around what the student needs most instruction on.
The length of a lesson is 30 minutes, with 5 minutes overtime if any additional questions need to be asked.
