About Alexandra
Good experience with flexible, patient and fun sessions to support someone wanting to improve vocabulary, spelling and grammar. Tailored approach depending on how student feels they learn best or if there is one thing they want to improve (I.e, pronunciation) - very open minded. Background in teaching friends and family of Romanian fiancé so quite casual and relaxed setting.

I'm an English graduate in literature and language so my focus is both on reading and interpretation but also on perfect spelling and grammar.
My focus however is on what isn't perfect!
My lessons would be either at my home or over Skype, email.
I'm very easy to talk to and would expect a student to talk to me honestly about what he/she wants to improve and how they prefer the lesson structure to go given their lifestyle and location too.
I'd then make a plan based on this but aim to keep sessions as varied as possible over the time we have.
An example lesson would be: 20 minutes of textbook exercises, 20 minutes of verbal communication, 20 minutes of writing.
Or, if they can't make it to my home I might ask them to complete an exercise in their free time which I can mark with constructive feedback and we can go through on the phone/email.
