About Hannah
Hello! I’m Hannah, an MA English Studies graduate with PGCE training and experience teaching English in secondary schools. I’ve always loved literature, creative writing and helping others discover confidence in their own abilities.
I believe every student learns differently, so I take a patient, encouraging and supportive approach. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident readers, writers and thinkers. Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, catching up with schoolwork or looking to develop your writing skills, I’ll tailor every lesson to suit your individual needs.
I’ll be starting as a Learning Support Practitioner at Newcastle College in September, and I’m excited to continue supporting students both in the classroom and through one-to-one tutoring.

Hello! I’m Hannah, an MA English Studies graduate with PGCE training and experience teaching English in secondary schools. I offer engaging, supportive tuition for KS3 and GCSE English Language, English Literature, creative writing and essay writing.
My teaching style is calm, patient and tailored to each individual student. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, preparing for GCSEs, improving your confidence or simply finding English a challenge, I’ll adapt lessons to suit your goals and learning style.
I believe students make the most progress when they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I’ll help you develop strong analytical skills, improve your writing, build confidence with exam techniques and discover that English can be both enjoyable and rewarding.
I’ll be starting as a Learning Support Practitioner at Newcastle College in September, and I’m available for online tutoring throughout the summer and beyond. I look forward to helping you achieve your potential!
