About Kirby
I’m Kirby,
I’ve been teaching since 2007 and can honestly say, I still love my job. English is my greatest passion and I love sharing that enthusiasm with my students.
What I really enjoy most is seeing the moment a difficult idea suddenly clicks, watching confidence grow, and helping students realise they are capable of far more than they thought. Those moments are what make my job really special.
For me, teaching is about more than improving grades; it’s about inspiring curiosity, encouraging independent thinking and giving students the confidence to express their ideas with ease. Seeing that progress is what makes teaching so rewarding.
