About Giovanna
Future translator interpreter, here I am, teacher GIo!
I started my journey with English at the age of 8, learning at home -I come from a family of teachers from different areas- with my aunt. When I was 10 years old, my mother decided that she would put me on a language course. I studied there for 7 years... Considering I was always dedicated and passionate about the language, I was called to teach at my 17 years old. Today, at 22 years old, my intention was to enter the translation college, but due to the financial crisis and deadly pandemics, this plan of mine went down the drain. So, I focused on studying at home. Here are some of the courses I've taken during this Covid season (online courses): Cambridge (Teaching English Online), Harvard (Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking), Cambridge (TEFL Course Online: Explore English Teaching). If I have achieved all this, you are capable of achieving even more!

I make good use of the student's creativity in class, especially with children. We work with character creation and text production, focused on the verbal tense in which that student is learning. With adults and children without any contact with the English language, I use exercises focused on the learning style of the student in question. The basic material to use for beginners in the language is Grammar In Use - Cambridge.
My area of greatest knowledge and specialty is conversation, pronunciation and phonetics.
Classes are avaliable to all levels.
