About Kiera
I only want the best for my students, and through the years I have acquired invaluable experience in both tutoring, and teaching. I received my associate of arts degree in 2023, and my undergraduate in applied linguistics and Spanish in 2025. During my degrees, I have taken multiple courses in English teaching and tutoring, along with real-time experience as a prerequisite of graduating. I have been tutoring English subjects for about 5 years now throughout high school, community college, and university. I am well versed in English language learners, and learners at any educational level. While I studied Spanish in Argentina, I served as a translator and an English tutor, and received a special certificate through a partner of the U.S. Embassy. I am currently working towards my master's in applied linguistics, with the end goal of teaching English related subjects at a post-secondary institution. I have always loved teaching, and I believe experience is the most valuable asset to becoming a great instructor. I love helping people learn and realize their full potential, no matter how challenging the task!

My lessons are aimed at students who wish to improve any and all things English related. From mastering the language, to writing your next resume or application, I will work my hardest with you on whatever you may need help with. I have years of experience being a writing tutor through my university I graduated from. I am well versed in syntax, grammar, pronunciation, and writing structure. I studied in Argentina for my Spanish degree, so I am comfortable using Spanish as a second language if needed for extra assistance. Whether you are trying to better your English, or finish that stubborn writing assignment, I am here to accommodate any and all learners from any background.

Kiera and I went to Winona State University at the same time. She was an incredible tutor when I needed help refining a cover letter for an application. Kiera is a dear friend who has helped me immensely with college level writing. She has helped me with many things such as research essays, capstone projects and graduate school applications.
