About Alexandra
I have been teaching English for several years and have maintained many of my students throughout this time. I am patient, fun and enthusiastic in class and modify classes depending on the age, interests and abilities of the students. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and getting to know new people.

I have been teaching around the world and at home for the last nine years, mainly teaching English as a foreign language to students (children and adults) in China.
I studied English Language at University where I took a particularly interest in Language and Sociology (how language influences and is influenced by racism/ sexism/classism) etc. My degree also focused on phonetics, syntax and grammar.
I am very patient, enthusiastic and kind. I adapt classes to the interests and abilities of my students and try to go above and beyond to offer extra help. I am currently learning French. Learning a language is helping me to teach better.
