About Katie
I am currently studying for a BA Hons in English language with creative writing. Prior to this, I was a mentor at my school and taught GCSE students advanced English skills. I prefer to mentor in small groups as this helps students to advance quicker than when in larger groups.

I begin my teaching process by assessing what each student knows in a relaxed test. I then formulate an individual plan for each student based on how much they already know. This prevents wasting time going over things that the student already knows.
