About David
Hello ! I'm David from the USA (and yes, I'm a bit of a stereotypical American). I've been living in France for 2 years teaching medical English at University of Paris (also coaching the English debate club). Before moving here, I lived in China as a business English teacher. And before that I lived in Haiti teaching high school English.

The lessons generally have a fairly large focus on developing speaking skills. This often consists of conversations, storytelling, and debating. There are three other aspects to any lesson: Reading, writing, and listening. All lessons should have a blend of these four focuses. Grammar and vocabulary will often be a topic discussed. Pronunciation a little. The lessons are similar to a university course in structure and content. I’ve taught general English, business English, test preparation (TOEIC, CAE, etc), and medical English

Perfect! David is a real pro at what he’s doing! I had the opportunity to take two types of lessons with him: Business English and pronunciation.
David provides valuable insights on the relevant vocabulary (in my case, Marketing) as well as on how to build phrases that sound more professionally.
When it comes to the pronunciation, David not only corrects and explains the correct sounds, but also provides insights into the non-written rules of a given pronunciation (in my case, American English where the letter “T” is often omitted or replaced by “D”).

David est vraiment très cool et professionnel! Il met à l'aise à l'oral ! J'ai adoré apprendre un plus l'anglais. Un très bon prof, et très agréable en discussion. Un peu froid au premier abord mais finalement ouvert au partage et c'est super, vraiment ! Je vous le recommande fortement :)
David est super, une personne très accessible, sympathique et pleine de ressources! Il parle clairement et articule bien, that's easy to understand when he talks. C’est très agréable de parler avec lui. Il a un très bon niveau de français et corrige nos erreurs en anglais ! Vraiment top :)
Not only a teacher, even more than a friend, ready to do anything to help others. David taught me during high school for 2 years and always made time to explain things clearly so that I would understand. I really recommend him.
Classes with David are a lot of fun! He always has some games or other interesting activities prepared, so one hour passes by very quickly. David is also very patient and attentive, he corrects my mistakes in a very respectful manner and encourages me to express myself and not be shy.
