About Kathryn
I am an English Language and Literature graduate from the University of Leeds where I gained a 2:1 degree, and I also have straight A*s in A Level and GCSE in both English and English Literature. I have been working in Marketing and Sales for private companies in tourism for the last 6 years, and I am the National Young Tourism Person of the Year for Wales in 2018. I have my own consultancy, PR and Marketing Agency ((concealed information) and so have much experience in descriptive writing, language techniques and applicable experience as well as academic.

I am incredibly enthusiastic about the power of language, whether we will be studying great literary works or analysing texts. I want to engage pupils in my lessons, getting them excited about literature, poetry or the use and choice of language.
Our lessons will be syllabus based, focusing on the text and work you are already covering in class while also reading around the topic to give you supplementary knowledge and a deeper understanding of what you are studying. I will suggest additional books, read and offer suggestions with coursework and essays and aim to get you the best possible marks in a way that is enjoyable and fun.
