About Abi
Hi! My name is Abi and I’m an undergraduate English Literature student at the University of Glasgow. I have a passion for sharing the beauty of English Literature and encouraging people to tap into their full potential.
Exam time can be scary and I know firsthand how hard it can be to believe in your own ability and have confidence in yourself. This is why I want to be a tutor, as I want to help people believe in their own talents and abilities.
Anyone can do anything as long as they have the confidence in themselves and take the time to hone their skills.

I am new to tutoring and my lessons are for National 4 to Higher candidates of any age. I believe that every individual learns differently and I place a strong focus on ensuring my students needs are well met and that they are understanding and engaging with the content in a way that best suits them. I offer hour long lessons but if shorter or longer sessions are better suited, this can happily be arranged.
I have eight A grades at Higher, one A grade at Advanced Higher, and six A grades at National 5. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters degree in English Literature at the University of Glasgow (ranked 31st in the QS subject ranking 2023).
