I love to use outlines and annotations for comprehension, by the end of our session your margins will be filled!
A typical lesson with me would first start by going over the topic, argumentative essay for example.
Then we would address the prompt, Men’s soccer versus Women’s soccer.
We would go through the process, sources, main points, counter point etc.
Then we would create an outline!
Once we get a strong outline we will be ready to start writing!
I am a tutor that has had real life experience in both entry level college English classes and upper level college English courses.
I also spent my highschool career taking Honors and AP level English classes and have taken the AP Language and Composition test myself!
After college I hope to become a highschool English teacher.
These lessons are primarily for middle school students and above, including college students!
I have experience in creative writing, academic writing and reading compression and analysis.
