About Ora Francine

Hello! I'm a Creative Writing major at the University of the Philippines Diliman, the top university in the Philippines, under the Department of English and Comparative Literature. I enjoy helping people communicate more confidently and express themselves more clearly in English.

Outside teaching, I'm passionate about literature, storytelling, and creative expression. I spend much of my time reading and writing fiction and creative nonfiction, and I enjoy learning about different cultures through language and conversation.

I've also had the opportunity to speak in seminars and on a podcast, experiences that have strengthened my communication skills and deepened my appreciation for meaningful conversations and cultural exchange.

I have six years of experience teaching English to children, teenagers, and adults from all over the world. Throughout this time, I have taught students with different goals, whether improving conversational fluency, developing writing skills, strengthening grammar and vocabulary, or building confidence in speaking English.

️ My background as a published writer also informs my teaching. My work has appeared in an anthology by Bookshelf PH that's available for purchase; Inquirer, the country's most credible and influential newspaper; Girls Right the World, an international literary journal; and Transit Dialog, a page with over 9.9k followers. This experience allows me to help students develop not only accuracy in English but also clarity, style, and self-expression in their communication.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner's goals, interests, and learning style.

Whether you're learning English for work, ‍ school, ️ travel, exams, or ️ everyday conversation, I will create lessons that match your goals and pace.

My classes are designed to be supportive, engaging, and personalized, giving you plenty of opportunities to practice and build confidence in a comfortable environment.

As someone who has worked with learners of different ages, cultures, and proficiency levels, I understand that every student learns differently. Together, we'll focus on what matters most to you and turn your goals into measurable progress.

Book your first lesson, and let's start your English learning journey together!
