I have been tutoring people younger than me in English for four years now. My students have gone on to improve ACT scores in the English section, and turn failing grades into coasting Bs. English is something you need regardless of what field you will go into, so it is best to become as proficient as possible at it.

As a current college student, I am willing to give lessons to anyone who feels they could benefit from them. I am able to adjust to what the student finds as the most effective way for them individually to learn. I personally prefer visual learning, so naturally my strength is visual teaching.

Details
Base travel cost will be $5. For every additional 5 miles after 5, add $5. For example, if you are 5 or less miles away, it will only an additional $5. If you are 10 miles away, it will cost an additional $10. You are 11 miles away, it will cost an additional $15. If you are 7 miles away it will cost an additional $10.
Lessons prices do not vary according to the level of english needed to be tutored. Prices are the same for a pre-kindergarten student learning the alphabet versus a high school senior working on improving their ACT score.
If cancelled more than 48 hours ahead of time, the fee will only be 40% of the original lesson. If cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled session, then you will be required to pay 80% of the original cost. If you agree to scheduling a lesson, then you are agreeing to pay at least 40%.
