About Catherine
Hello! I'm Cat. I'm a sophomore in college at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee majoring in English. I aim to be proficient in editing and the construction of nonfiction, narrative, and similar types of writing. I look forward to putting my knowledge and skills to the test by tutoring. I will be learning along side students by helping them and gaining experience in a variety of different areas within the topic.

I will be providing basic assistance to students who need help with certain skills or assignments. I will use gentle guiding techniques to encourage students reach a conclusion on their own, while boosting their understanding of the topic. Instruction and explaining as needed.
My lessons are primarily for students who are seeking help with writing and/or editing essays/papers. But I can also provide some help with assignments geared toward reading comprehension, especially for younger students (5th grade to 7th grade).
If a student is attending UW-Milwaukee, I am open to meeting in-person. Otherwise, lessons will be online-only.
Students will be expected to show up to lessons prepared with questions, assignments, and an understanding of what they would like to get out of the session.
