I'm a waitress, call center agent for a credit legal company and a ESl teacher by profession. I usually deal with 4 to 7 years old students..with my experience it takes patience and clarity. Some kids are fast learners and others need time to grasp concepts and it's my duty to help them.

Teaching should be fun ..that's my number one method I always bring up. Do not let your audience get bored. I use gestures a lot. Be active, move around. Make it a point that the student understands fully. Especially the young age. PATIENCE is the most important thing when dealing with kids.
