I have been an ESOL English teacher since 2010, working in Switzerland and London for language schools, teaching all levels, groups, private students and many exam classes, with excellent student results. I speak standard southern British English - RP.

I structure my lessons according to your needs. Lots of speaking, grammar when required, as much homework and detailed marking as you like, and often using media such as youtube, magazines, newspaper articles etc. Fun, friendly and effective.

Guy really helped my son Max with his 11+ English, as well as his VR and interview. Guy is very easy to get on with, and Max enjoyed his lessons. Guy quickly found Max’s problem areas in the English paper, and found specific exercises for further practice. He thoroughly prepared Max for the interview, leaving nothing to chance, and oversaw VR final practice.
Guy is the best English tutor I had. He is always well prepared and his lessons are interesting and carefully planned. His feedback and marking is like on the real IELTS exam. Highly recommended!
