About Laine
I have always had a deep passion for English, and as this developed in my adult life I discovered an equally strong love of teaching.
I graduated from the University of Liverpool with first class honours degree in Law in 2021, and since then have been teaching English as a school subject and as a foreign language alongside my primary job as a technical financial report writer.
In this time, I have helped a number of young learners gain confidence in their ability in academia and, most importantly, grow a love and appreciation for English which has carried them through their education. Previous students of mine have attained places in top UK independent schools such as Harrow and St. Pauls Girls, and have gone on to do very well in their GCSEs and beyond.
