About Kaydence
I am a current Ball State student studying secondary English education, and I have been helping students learn for many years. I have experience working with students of all ages from kindergarten to high school. My biggest goal when teaching is to try and make learning as fun as possible while still giving students the tools they need to move through future educational struggles.

My approach is to take things one step at a time, and give students a great foundation for their future learning. I like to teach using the gradual release model of teaching which is better known as the "I do, we do, you do" model. This approach allows both myself and the student to show each other how learning happens and help students develop the metacognition needed to move past the frustration and struggles that come with learning.
