About Ava
I am a 3rd year student at Cardiff University, and as someone who has received tutoring myself in the past, I realise how encouraging it can be to establish confidence and follows through into the classroom.
Extra support outside of the classroom is vital to helping establish and consolidating content.
English GCSE can be very tricky for some students, and to be able to get to the next step, you will need to pass English. This is where I can help. Whether you are looking to excel or simply pass, I want to help bring out the best in every student.

I aim to understand how every individual student needs to learn, as every student learns differently.
I would begin by addressing key areas of improvement, e.g. essay writing, grammar, exam prep or simply consolidating information. Each tutor session can be adapted to specific needs and wants out of the lessons.
I am flexible on length of a lesson and how often you would like. Typically suggest an hour session once a week.
I am confident teaching 11-16 years old (GCSE level).
