About Liberty
I am an attentive and sociable character, with the intent to make my students feel like they're talking to a friend, not a teacher. My kind support sees me putting myself into my students' shoes to work through the tough bits with them, rather than letting them suffer in ambiguity. My passion is English, so that passion will be advantageously transferred through my tutees - they may even learn to love it too!

- Friendly and chatty approach to warm up students enough to help them engage with confidence and comfort
- 'The student way' - I teach exactly how I would have revised/taught myself for my own studies. I work from a student eye in today's style of education, so no old fashioned strategies
- Diverse lesson style, beginning with icebreakers, moving through activities and ending with exam-style questions
- Tutored year 7s and 8s for pre-GCSE English and Maths help, and year 9s-11s in GCSE English literature and language. Helped many students achieve 7s-9s in English literature/language GCSEs.
- A Level grades: A* (English Literature), A* (Drama and Theatre Arts), A (Psychology)
- GCSE grades: ten 8s/9s including 9s in both Englishes
- Prospective First Class Honours Psychology student at Durham University

My price is at £23/hour which includes out-of-lesson efforts from me to source activities, exam papers, curriculums and so on. I also have an 'all hands on deck' approach to make the whole hour absolutely worth it for the student.
