About Alexandra
I have a teaching degree from Durham University and I specialise in English during my final year; writing a dissertation on this subject area, receiving a High first degree grade. I have taught English to children in many different schools, and also tutored children of all ages in this subject. I teach English literature, language, grammar, comprehension, specialist tutoring in the 11+ exams and more.

I make my tutoring unique to each individual pupil and therefore it is impossible to describe how I teach. I give each pupil an initial assessment and get to know them personally, and then try a mixed method teaching approach until we find the best one for that student! I have a teaching degree and use everything I learnt during this time and apply it in my lessons. My classes are fun and engaging that it hardly feels like learning!

My state school educated son started only two weeks before his first indépendant school exam and has already been called back for his first interview..it's All down to the professional planning and delivery of the intense 11 plus programme that Alex created specifically for him. I cannot recommend Alex and her team enough! Thanks guys!!
