About Claudia
Hi! I'm Claudia and I have just completed my A levels and am about to begin my undergraduate degree in BA English at Loughborough University. I hope to give students a new perspective when it comes to English Literature and Language, beyond the act of reading and writing, and see the purpose of English itself, which I believe is key in honing skills necessary to excel in exams! I hope to make the process of learning enjoyable through interactive lessons and hope to build the confidence of students in their English abilities- a key quality when it comes to writing convincingly!

Hi, I'm Claudia and I have just finished my A Levels in English Literature, Spanish and Psychology and am about to begin my undergraduate degree in BA English at Loughborough University. My aim as a tutor is to help build the confidence of students in English Literature and Language. The subjectivity and creativity of English is often what's most daunting to students, however I aim to break down challenges into manageable steps, identifying exactly what is is the student's strengths and weaknesses are and catering my lessons to suit their needs. I also aim to focus on exam technique, helping students feel comfortable in knowing what it is examiners want to see when it comes to their final GCSE exams. I have been tutoring GCSE students in English for two years now, and I feel this experience was invaluable in providing me with the skills necessary to help students flourish, both in their ability and in their confidence in the subject.
The typical length of my lessons would be 1 hour.
