About Domi
I am a Master of Chemistry (MChem) graduate from Durham University with a considerable amount of experience in teaching and scientific research. Chemistry is my major, thus mostly I would like to teach this subject.
I have done multiple internships at local schools during my undergraduate years, where I had to organize individual and group teaching activities for students from various ages (11-16) and ability levels (low ability to top-class level).
I have been tutoring online for MyTutor for almost 4 years and I have also been conducting private tutoring lessons for undergraduate students since the recent outbreak.
I also have over 2 years of scientific research experience.

Since early childhood, I have solely been identifying and practising hobbies which have a long and steep learning curve. For instance: gymnastics, drama and chess. As a result, I find it exceptionally important to engage students in activities which they not only enjoy but ones in which they can identify their goals and learning curves themselves. I also like to personalize teaching activities according to the students’ needs since I believe that the ultimate goal is to teach students how to become independent learners. I enjoy tutoring students with all kinds of abilities and backgrounds (from the low ability to top-class level)
