About Yao
I am a passionate and dedicated teacher with two Master's degrees in French Didactics (University of Dijon and University of Strasbourg) and over ten years of teaching experience in Canada and abroad. I have taught French immersion at the primary and secondary levels, as well as adult learners. My practice is grounded in a strong command of the CEFR, a communicative approach, and a genuine care for each learner's well-being. I believe every student can succeed when supported with patience, rigor, and encouragement. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel heard, motivated, and capable of progressing at their own pace.

I adapt to the student's pace, build their confidence, and guide them toward independence. Each session includes a clear objective, personalized follow-up, and concrete strategies the student can reuse on their own. My goal is simple: to help every student progress sustainably, enjoy learning, and succeed with confidence.
