About Mandy
My specialism is in History and Humanities, however, I am also experienced in tutoring English to GCSE level.
Experience classroom teaching a wide range of exam specifications at GCSE and A level, and a large number of topics at KS3.
7 years mentoring experience, ranging from students in KS2 - A level.
Experience working to improve reading level of children with learning difficulties at Heanor Gate Academy.

An experienced teacher and mentor, currently working in Secondary Education teaching History and Humanities.
I enjoy working closely with students and their parents in order to increase knowledge, skills and confidence in their chosen subject (History, RE, Politics or Philosophy and Ethics) setting targets and reviewing progress frequently. Lessons are fun and flexible and completely tailored to the individual student`s needs.
Lessons can take place either at the students house, my own premises or online. Full DBS check.
