About Charlie
I am a young and enthusiastic man who has a passion for anything that can be enjoyed. I have recently spent my last 6 months exploring spain, the balkans and south america, so you could definetly say I like travelling and learning about history and culture (I promise I dont travel for the food!)
I like to think that mmy contagious passion for life and enthusiastic personality leaks into my lessons sometimes though, so here is your warning, you wont just be learning, you will be enjoying!

I trained to teach through a PGCE course that I carried out at the university of portsmouth. Here I learned and met all 8 teacher standards, teaching me many different skills and theories, like how to scaffold a lesson, take advantage of retrieval and how to properly structure a sequence of lessons.
I have experience in both GCSE and A levels and this has shown me to take different approaches depending on who I am teaching.
My languages skills in Spanish and English are at a native level, meaning I can code switch between my accents and the language in an instant. But growing up in Spain with british heritage did not just teach me the languages, it taught me the culture. I have a very good knowledge about spanish, british and latin american culture and history because I had the privilige to experience it.
