Alyssa was a wonderful teacher to work with! She helped identify gaps in my daughters understanding of the Spanish language. Once she identified the gaps, she worked hard to catch her learning up while also moving her forward with her current material. She also helped her organize her school work and how to prepare for tests and finals. All her lessons were virtual which was very convenient with our busy family schedule. Alyssa was great at communicating to me as the parent what they went over during the session. I also got a copy of their video lesson that we could watch back and review for additional learning. Alyssa was great at connecting with my teen and helping her open up. She has a way about her that put my daughter at ease. I would highly recommend Alyssa as an excellent teacher!

I've been doing Spanish lessons with Alyssa for just over a year and it's had a big impact on my learning. Prior to working with Alyssa i was using Duolingo, Spanishdict, and other free learning apps. While there's a lot of good free tools out there, but my pace was slow and i had a lot of unanswered questions. Working with Alyssa has been great because i get instruction tailored to my level and goals. She addresses the questions that the few apps don't. And meeting with a tutor regularly really boosted my motivation. I'm glad i found Alyssa (she taught a course at my company) and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get to conversational Spanish.

When I started with Alyssa two years ago, I only knew minimal travel Spanish. She has helped me to become proficient enough so that I feel confident reading and expressing myself. She keeps it interesting with books, games, podcasts, worksheets and conversation too. She keeps it entertaining and she is funny as well, so lessons are never boring. I highly recommend her!
