About Karalynn
I am an ESL teacher with a Bachelors in English, a minor in ASL, and a 120 hour TESOL certification. I devoted much of my time during my undergrad career to research and develop resources for ESL students. During that time I personally befriended and tutored dozens of students from all around the world, helping them improve their English speaking skills. I aided them in their pronunciation, grammar, listening, use of idioms, reading and writing to help them become confident English speakers. I have also worked in private preschools and currently teach with two online companies based in China.

I believe that learning a second language should be interesting and fun! It's impossible to learn a language without practice; therefore, my lessons are based in fluid conversation. I use basic grammar rules, phonology, and synthetic phonics to help students improve speaking and pronunciation.
