About Manal
I have a Master’s Degree in Education, a TESL Certificate from George Brown College in Toronto, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.
I have extensive experience working with children and adults. I’ve been working as an ESL professor at George Brown College (Sessional Contract) since 2013. Being a well-rounded teacher, I have had the opportunity to teach students from various cultures and in a variety of settings. My diverse experiences have connected me to people of all backgrounds, and I aim to help international students build a bridge to the new culture in which they are immersed.

I am a compassionate teacher who integrates multicultural teaching units and offers positive reinforcement to keep the students focused and motivated. For my lesson plans, I adapt coursebook materials and employ authentic texts to target students’ needs. I also utilize my knowledge, experience of language learning, and passion for cultural and linguistic differences to better assist my students. As a teacher, I identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet the students’ varying objectives. I engage different strategies to reach the students and provide individual and whole group support. Moreover, I am committed to creating a friendly and language-rich atmosphere while utilizing the highest teaching resources and classroom materials.
